Oceans of Blue

Music for relaxation

Seven long pieces, exactly sixty minutes. Didgeridoo, harp, gentle guitar, sitar, saxophone and voice, made for massage tables, yoga rooms and the hour before sleep.

Adding cards, oil or books worth A$25 or more? Then the music is an add-on: A$5 for one album or A$8 for both.

The story

Oceans of Blue followed a year later, made with Tarshito as a full hour of unbroken calm. Where Fields of Green is a collection of short pieces, these seven tracks run seven to ten minutes each, long enough to settle into.

The sitar and saxophone give it a warmer, more inward feel than the first album. It was pressed on the same hemp plastic tray and hemp paper insert, and features a track with Chris James.

Play it from the top and let it run. It was sequenced to carry you from red earth to open ocean and back to the present.

Pressed on hemp plastic

The original CD tray was moulded from hemp plastic, the insert printed on tree-free hemp card and the didgeridoo made from hemp fibre. It was the first CD of its kind, made to show that a plant could do a petrochemical's job. Read how it happened.

Fields of Green

Harp, flute and didgeridoo recorded in the hills behind Byron Bay. Breathe and relax to the didge, float along the waves of the harp, be carried by gentle guitar and let your heart open with angelic voices.

Both albums together: A$14.95.
